My illustration submitted to the Ilustra Capa art contest, hosted by artist Mary Cagnin on Instagram and YouTube. The goal of the contest was to create a cover for the fictional novel “Palavras no Horizonte” that had the following premise:

     Maya loves to write stories in her typewriter in the company of her cat Luna. One day she wakes up inside the universe she created and goes on a journey where her biggest discovery is about herself.

The book cover had to include the main character Maya, her black cat Luna and her typewriter. The genre of the story and art style were free to choose.
